Nurse Manager - ECC, Full Time, Shifts Vary
About The Position
The Nurse Manager - ECC role is a full-time position with varying shifts. The primary responsibility involves utilizing the Nursing Process to provide and document professional nursing care in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, and established policies and procedures. This role also includes assisting the Director with delegated management duties, coordinating and delegating care with other professionals and ancillary personnel, communicating findings, and serving as a resource for other nursing personnel. The position may also involve other job-related duties as requested by a Supervisor or Department Director.
Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina.
- BSN required.
- Two years recent clinical experience.
- Demonstrates computer knowledge.
- Demonstrates clinical competency in specialty.
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a charge nurse desirable.
- Possesses leadership, communication, organizational, planning, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) to monitor, provide, and document professional nursing care to patients in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care.
- Assist Director with delegated management duties.
- Coordinate and delegate care with/to other professionals and ancillary personnel.
- Communicate findings as indicated to appropriate person(s).
- Serve as a resource person for other SRH/nursing personnel to resolve work-related issues.
- Perform any other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor or Department Director.
