About The Position

In conjunction with the leadership of the Heart and Vascular Institute, directs the care provided to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs. Manages all Cath/EP Lab Staff, Nurses, and Technologists at TUH Main Inc. Develops evidenced based policies, procedures, and work processes to ensure provision of quality patient care. Responsible for staffing, budget, control of expenses, continuing development and education of staff, performance improvement, and human resource management. Maintains inventory controls, equipment repairs and quality control equipment file, logging downtime, PM's and related problems. Supervises, evaluates, guides and counsels staff in their work performance. Maintains and prioritizes the employee work schedule, attendance and payroll records. Ensures all Interventional Radiology departments are compliant with Joint Commission, State and regulatory procedures and all regulatory requirements are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required
  • 2 years experience in a clinical leadership role Required
  • PA Registered Nurse License Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required
  • Basic Life Support Required
  • Multi State Compact RN License Required Or

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree Nursing or related health care field Preferred
  • Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree Required
  • 5 years experience as a Cardiac Cath/EP Registered Nurse Preferred
