About The Position

Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur is a long-term care residence for Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving God. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our Sisters in a faith-based environment. Our mission is to extend God’s goodness through service. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable PRN Nurses (RN or LPN) to join our healthcare team in our 80-bed, five-star facility. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to our Sisters, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Sisters. A PRN (as-needed) position does not have a guaranteed schedule and is based on facility staffing needs. Employees in this role are expected to remain responsive to scheduling communication, meet minimum shift and availability requirements, complete required training, and maintain flexibility, including working designated holidays.

Requirements

  • Current and valid license in the State of Ohio (LPN or RN).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to serving Sisters with kindness, respect, and integrity.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in long term care or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on nursing care and assist in implementing individualized care plans for residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Monitor Sisters conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN and physician.
  • Supervise and support STNAs, ensuring quality care and teamwork.
  • Communicate effectively team members.
  • Uphold our mission and values through compassionate, faith-based service.
