About The Position
To function as a clinical and administrative resource to those who provide direct patient care. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager or Supervisor, manage the process and administration of oral chemotherapy drugs to patients.
Requirements
- Graduation from an approved Licensed Practical Nurse program.
- Adheres to hospital policies and Florida Nurse Practice Act guidelines in providing patient care.
- Demonstrates effective problem solving and communication skills with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Licensed to practice practical nursing in the state of Florida
- Current BLS for healthcare providers from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Over 5 years Clinical specialty experience
