As our Interventional Radiology Nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center, you will assume a leadership role in assessing patient/family health problems and resources, with a primary focus on developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive nursing care plans for acutely ill adult patient populations in our Imaging Services department. This position requires providing service to diverse age groups, from young adults to geriatric patients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their functional and developmental needs. Every day you will provide comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care, organizing and prioritizing patient activities while maintaining a balance between patient needs and comfort. You will serve as a dedicated patient advocate, utilizing holistic care practices and skillfully adapting to changes in patient conditions, such as abnormal lab results or vital signs. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, strong computer literacy, and the ability to recognize your scope of practice, seeking multidisciplinary collaboration when appropriate.
