About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Nurse Instructor for a Full-Time Evenings position. This role involves teaching and supervising nursing students in both classroom and clinical settings, contributing to their professional development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instructing students, and will also contribute to the research and development of the educational program. Requirements

Master’s Degree Nursing (or actively enrolled) in ACEN/NLNAC or CCNE accredited program.
3 years Clinical area of specialization/responsibility.
Demonstrates integrity, stability, imagination, and discriminative judgment in instruction of nursing students.
Demonstrates creativity and perseverance in scholarly activities.
Demonstrates respect, collegiality, professionalism, and caring in relations with administration, staff, colleagues, and students.
Demonstrates commitment to life-long learning.
Knowledge of FERPA.
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire

Responsibilities

Creates an environment in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings that facilitates student learning and achievement of desired cognitive, affective, and psychomotor outcomes.
