Overview NURSING EDUCATION NURSE INSTRUCTOR – ED Educator (NYSNA) Full Time / 7am – 5:30pm / some weekends

Requirements

  • 3-5 years ED experience
  • MSN in Nursing Education or a Post-Masters Certificate in Nursing Education
  • ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certification
  • Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • ACLS / BCLS Instructor
  • Teaching experience
  • Critical care experience

Responsibilities

  • Nursing Education; plans, develops, directs and evaluates educational programs for Dept of Nursing.
  • Responsibilities are achieved through orientation, staff development activities and continuing education based on quality improvement reports and needs assessments, skills training and research and collaboration with other hospital departments.
