About The Position

Lakeview Cancer Center seeks an RN with oncology and/or research experience to contribute to the growth and success of its clinical research program, working with physicians, researchers, and healthcare professionals to bring cutting-edge therapies to patients. The position independently oversees and provides patient care management and education, or conducts research, using sound nursing judgment, critical thinking, and clinical knowledge and skills. The nurse serves as a mentor and resource to research and education staff and provides clinical consultative, educational, and research support. The role collaborates with primary care and specialty departments within PNHS, interacts with the community and external customers, and shares knowledge and expertise with health professionals through oral presentations and written manuscripts.

Work schedule: 0.8 FTE, Monday–Friday, 0800–1700.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, or Associate Degree in Nursing from a college or university.
• One to three years of experience as an RN.
• Current RN licensure in the state of Minnesota.
• Experience in oncology and/or research.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s Degree.
• Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) certification preferred for the IDC Patient Services position.
• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or other applicable certification preferred for the IDC Research position.
