As a Nurse Informaticist (NI), you will function as a knowledgeable practitioner, consultant, educator, and evaluator to maintain and improve system services. You will lead the department through the design of clinical processes, solutions, technology workflow, and successful adoption to achieve value, aligning with organizational strategy. You will manage ongoing relationships with departments, providing system management and clinical subject matter expertise, focusing on department success in utilizing technology solutions. You will assist in change management, identify opportunities for improvement, and be accountable for achieving project targeted outcomes. You will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between clinical departments and IT, leveraging both clinical and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions and establish trusted relationships with department leaders. You will collaborate across teams to plan and ensure appropriate communication and documentation for implementing and evaluating systems and services, supporting high-quality clinical workflows and application development. You will evaluate clinical utilization and workflow, including patient safety and clinical outcomes, and research, analyze, and make recommendations for clinical application workflow improvements. As a Healthcare Informaticist (HCI), you will provide informatics guidance and act as a liaison between clinical and IT departments, leveraging both healthcare and informatics knowledge to provide innovative solutions. You will collaborate with clinicians, providers, and ancillary departments in analyzing clinical requirements specific to the organization. You should be knowledgeable in clinical documentation needs, regulations, and standard operating procedures essential in the EHR. You will participate in testing and validating solutions and clinical documentation tools, current state mapping and future state workflow development, content issue resolution, implementation, optimization, and end-user support. You will have a strong understanding of healthcare strategy, operations, and the ability to adjust to changing needs. You will manage relationships with department contacts, providing clinical subject matter expertise. You will collaborate with the Informatics team for general instruction on routine work and detailed instruction on new projects or assignments.
