About The Position
The Children's Home of Reading Youth, Family Services is seeking a Full-Time, Part-Time Nurse Home Visitor- BSN to cover the Berks, Pottsville area as part of our Community Prevention Partnership Program. This role involves partnering with first-time mothers during their pregnancy and continuing to see them and their babies until the child is 2 years old. The Nurse Home Visitor will form relationships with clients, have important conversations to improve birth outcomes, child growth and development, and support clients with personal goals to change their life course. The position involves managing approximately 25 cases, with visits twice a month, and creating one's own full-time schedule.
Requirements
- RN License in good standing required.
- Full-time, 40 hours/week with a flexible schedule.
- Valid driver's license and insured automobile.
Nice To Haves
- BSN Desired
- Maternal/Child health and/or previous home health experience preferred, not required.
- Ability to speak/understand Spanish desired but not required.
