Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
- Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field is required
- Active RN license
- Clinical nursing experience: 5-7 years required
- Hospital, managed care or healthcare process improvement experience: 3-5 years required
- Management experience: 2-3 years required
Nice To Haves
- Current PACU experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
- BLS preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of nursing professionals in a fast-paced PACU environment
- Foster a positive, respectful, and psychologically safe team culture
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff through ongoing feedback and support
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to improve team performance and patient outcomes
- Oversee onboarding, education, and professional development initiatives
- Help create staffing strategies that support both operational excellence and employee wellbeing
- Coordinate care and unit activities across hospital departments
- Support a work environment where patients, visitors, and staff feel safe, valued, and heard
- Serve as a visible and approachable leader during both routine operations and high-stress situations
