Perianesthesia Nurse
About The Position
Ambulatory Anesthesia Care (AAC) is establishing an office-based anesthesia practice in Houston, TX, and is seeking skilled Perianesthesia RNs to join their team. This role involves providing pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care within office-based anesthesia facilities, working four days a week during standard surgeon business hours (Monday-Friday, no evenings, Sundays, or holidays). The position is ideal for nurses who enjoy collaborating with anesthesia and surgical teams and are committed to delivering safe, quality patient care. Bilingual candidates, particularly Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply. Occasional assistance with pre-operative patient assessments via a secure patient portal may be required.
Requirements
- Graduate degree from an accredited RN program
- Active RN licensure in the state of TX
- A minimum of 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to drive to client locations
Nice To Haves
- PALS certificate

Responsibilities
- Pre-operative assessment and care of the patient
- Intra-operative care of the patient
- Post-operative/recovery care of the patient
- Maintaining the pharmacy and supplies
- Safely handling all equipment
- Participating in quality performance improvement activities
- Assisting with completing pre-operative patient assessments via secure patient portal (from time to time)
