About The Position
Ivy Tech Evansville is hiring passionate Registered Nurses (RNs) with pediatric experience to join their faculty. This role offers a career shift into teaching, providing daytime hours, academic stability, and meaningful mentorship without the demands of hospital shifts, weekends, or nights. The nursing program at Ivy Tech boasts a 100% NCLEX pass rate in 2024 for both ASN and PN graduates. As faculty, you will teach in classrooms, labs, and clinicals, bringing your real-world experience to the next generation of nurses.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Indiana Registered Nurse license
- Three (3) years of RN experience
- Master’s degree in Nursing, or Bachelor’s in Nursing with a written plan to complete a Master’s in Nursing and documented semester-by-semester progress toward it

- Pediatric nursing experience
- Previous experience in teaching or clinical instruction (not required)
Responsibilities
- Teach nursing courses including lectures, labs, and clinicals
- Develop course materials and assessments
- Advise students and support their academic journey
