About The Position
The College Nurse Tech is currently enrolled in a School of Nursing and has successfully completed two Clinical Nursing courses. Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, this role performs multi-skilled activities to support patient care and achieve desired outcomes. The Nurse Extern can perform nursing practice interventions demonstrated through competency-based orientation and validated by an RN staff member. Duties include various nursing tasks related to the general welfare and personal hygiene of assigned patients under RN supervision, assisting patients with basic human needs such as nutrition, hydration, mobility, comfort, elimination, socialization, rest, and hygiene, and collecting, reporting, and documenting simple data.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing Program
- Demonstrates successful completion of two Clinical Nursing Courses
- BLS Certification
- Effective oral and written communication skills in the English Language.
- Must clear background and drug test required.

Responsibilities
