About The Position

The Nurse Educator collaborates with leaders and staff to assess nursing educational needs and competencies. The role develops, implements, and evaluates nursing and clinical educational plans and programs, using methods, measurements, and tools to assess achievement of learning goals. It also consults on the analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs and performance processes that support core nursing and clinical competency across the organization. The Nurse Educator manages performance and competency standards for inter-professional programs to support practice at the highest extent of licensure. The position is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the Education Associate CPD department. It is a full-time day-shift role. Required credentials include Registered Nurse licensure before the hire or transfer date and BLS Provider certification within 30 days of the hire or transfer date. A diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing is required.

Requirements

Registered Nurse credential obtained before the hire date or job transfer date.
BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of the hire date or job transfer date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross certification is accepted.
Diploma from an accredited school or college of nursing.
