About The Position

The Nurse Clinician III is a competent clinician with knowledge and skill to meet standards for professional nursing practice specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. The role requires experience and skill in the specialty area and competent participation as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Practice is predominantly interdependent, problem-focused, and patient-centered. The nurse manages commonly seen unexpected, emergency, and contingency situations in the assigned specialty population and serves as a resource for Nurse Clinician I or II.
