About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our state-of-the-art Cath Lab, performing over 2,500 procedures annually across two advanced rooms. Our facility is a hub for high-acuity care, specializing in complex cardiac and peripheral interventions, including EVAR and Carotid Stenting. You will work a consistent 4x10 shift schedule, providing the perfect balance of high-impact clinical work and personal time. You will be joining a tenured team that is the backbone of our accredited Chest Pain Center. We pride ourselves on a culture of efficiency, elite skill, and genuine compassion. As a member of this front-line team, you will participate in a weekday and weekend on-call rotation that serves as the region’s primary lifeline for emergency cardiac care. Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year critical care RN experience within the last three (3) years. Will consider 1 year Level I and/or Level II ED RN experience in lieu of critical care experience within the last 3 years.
  • Current CA RN license
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
  • Candidates must have cardiac rhythms and basic cardiac hemodynamics and anatomy training
  • Ability to wear lead aprons for an extended length of time during procedures
  • Other certifications may be required
  • Call required

Responsibilities

  • Performs total body and system assessment each shift/visit according to unit standards.
  • Including planning, implementing, evaluating and educating.
  • Utilizes technology, procedures, protocols, standards and interventions specific to assigned unit.
  • Performs legible, timely, concise and accurate documentation according to policies and procedures. Proficient and competent with the computerized documentation system.
  • Accepts responsibility and accountability for own decisions and behaviors. Recognizes, accepts and cooperates with direction from facility leadership.
  • Participates in orientation of new staff, ancillary personnel and mentors students in a constructive and positive manner. Serves as resource to staff from other nursing departments.
