About The Position

We are currently looking for an RN (AAP) licensure holding Primary Care Nurse with demonstrated ability to apply Additional Authorized Practice standards & competencies to diagnose & treat Limited Common Medical Disorders as identified in the Clinical Decision Tools. The practice involves working within the nursing program objectives, guidelines, and policies and procedures; building partnerships, completing community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration; and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects. Requirements

  • Registered/Eligible for registration with CRNS as an RN(AAP)
  • Additional Authorized Practice (AAP) designation
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certificate (PALS)
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

  • Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
  • Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.

Nice To Haves

  • In the event there are no fully qualified applicants, The Saskatchewan Health Authority would be willing to sponsor to current employees who are Registered Nurses and want to take the required Advanced Authorized Practice Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic with a anticipated completion date of July 1, 2026. This course is a requirement to work as a RN-AAP.
