Key duties also encompass reviewing, developing, and evaluating educational materials, contributing to public health communication through articles, displays, and media appearances, and conducting educational programs for diverse population groups. A significant aspect is providing parenting education and support to foster healthy families, implementing strategies for communicable disease reduction, including immunization, and screening infants and preschool children for developmental delays. Furthermore, the Public Health Nurse provides observational experiences and acts as a preceptor for nursing, medical, and nutrition students, while meticulously maintaining client records, statistics, and workload measurement tools.
