About The Position
The Nursing Associate functions within the interdisciplinary team to assist in the care of a group of patients under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. Requirements
- Nursing student currently enrolled in an accredited Connecticut nursing school program that has completed a minimum of 100 hours of theoretical and clinical instruction in the fundamental skills of nursing.
- Ability to read, write and understand instructions in English.
Nice To Haves
- Basic Computer knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Provide care under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Reports pertinent patient information to appropriate team members.
- Documents in a timely and accurate manner adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Completes specific assigned tasks, sets priorities for daily tasks, prioritizes and completes assigned tasks as delegated.
