About The Position
The Nurse Assistant / Patient Care Tech performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or hold a GED certificate preferred.
- Completion of an approved nursing assistant course preferred.
- Previous experience or course work preferred.
- AHA BLS Certification required.
- Completion of an accredited nursing assistance program.
- BLS required
- Completion of an accredited medical assisting program with one year of patient care experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient.
- Renders care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Performs other duties related to the work described herein.
