About The Position

As a Nurse Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide essential patient care, assist in care planning, and respond to emergent situations. Your contributions directly support the RN team and enhance the patient experience, making a meaningful difference in healthcare delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of previous experience in a similar role.
  • Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.

Nice To Haves

  • CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specific patient care duties to meet safety and comfort needs under RN supervision.
