About The Position

This role is for a Nurse Assistant position within the Step Down Unit at Cox Medical Center Branson. The position involves providing basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, assisting with bathing, dressing, and moving patients, changing linens, and other assigned duties. The role also requires obtaining information on patient condition and reporting any changes. The job is for the night shift, with scheduled weekly hours of 24.

Requirements

3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long-term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR Completed an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years OR Completed the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program OR Must have Missouri CNA License OR Must have MO CNA Appendix AND MO CNA license must be obtained within 120 days of hire
BLS must be obtained within 90 days
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exhibits valuable time management skills
Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

Responsibilities
