About The Position
As a Nurse Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your contributions will directly support the RN in delivering exceptional patient care, responding to emergent situations, and fostering a compassionate healthcare environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR currently enrolled in a nursing program with successful completion of the Fundamentals of Nursing course OR foreign trained and licensed RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one (1) year of previous experience in an NA, PCT, PAT, or similar role.
- Complete BLS Heart Saver Certification during orientation.
Nice To Haves
- CNA certification preferred.
Responsibilities
