Nurse Assistant II - Nursing Float Pool

About The Position
Provides patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. Activities will vary in relationship to the area of assignment. The position is in the Nursing Float Pool and has scheduled work hours of 7:00 pm to 7:30 am, with 72 scheduled hours bi-weekly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6 months of health care-related experience and/or training.
- CPR or BLS.
Nice To Haves
- State certification as a CNA for the State of Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care by performing treatments and procedures as listed by the Nursing Services Department.
- Ensures procedures are documented and nursing care is properly given to patients.
- Assists with patient teaching under the guidance of a registered nurse.
