About The Position

Provides direct and indirect care for the residents as a caregiver and dispenser of medications. Communicates with the residents, family, departmental staff, and visitors.

Requirements

High School graduate or equivalent.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (NA-C) in the State of Washington.
Nurse Delegation Core and Diabetic Certification.

Nice To Haves

Assisted Living required certifications: Mental Health, Dementia, Developmental Disabilities.
One (1) year experience assisting with or administering medications under Nurse Delegation in an Assisted Living setting.
Proficiency with Point Click Care E-Mar documentation.

Maintains accurate, complete, and confidential resident records according to established procedure.
Works collaboratively with peers and other team members.
Uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations.
Remain calm in emergency situations.
Always maintain a low noise level.
May assist with Dietary department as needed or instructed.
Maintain regulatory requirements.
Report to work on time and as scheduled; complete work within designated timelines.
Demonstrates the ability to adhere to the mission, ethics and goals of the District.
Demonstrates the ability to communicate with patients, guests and staff in a courteous, respectful and helpful manner.
