About The Position

Deaconess Illinois Medical Center is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join its Critical Care team. Requirements

• Valid CNA certification in the State of Illinois.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) or Red Cross BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach and dedication to high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Take patients’ vital signs.
• Help patients with mobility and positioning.
