About The Position
As a Nurse Assistant Apprentice, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and licensed clinicians. Your contributions ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of patients while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive learning environment. This role is essential in delivering compassionate care and supporting the healthcare team in achieving optimal patient outcomes. Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, transfer, and move patients as needed.
- Completion of BLS Heart Saver Certification during the apprenticeship program.
Nice To Haves
- Previous healthcare or customer service experience.
- Familiarity with healthcare settings and patient care protocols.
Responsibilities
- Assist in providing direct patient care to meet safety and comfort needs under RN supervision.
- Support the healthcare team in planning and implementing patient care.
