About The Position
We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a Locum Tenens position in Potsdam, NY. This inpatient role involves clinical duties plus call coverage from December 20, 2026, to March 21, 2027. The CRNA will provide general anesthesia for inpatient surgical procedures, administer epidural anesthesia for OB patients, and perform pre-operative evaluations. The position also includes overnight call coverage and may involve supervising other staff.
Requirements
- Active NY license
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA or RQI)
- Epic experience required
- Comfortable in rural/critical access setting
Responsibilities
- Provide general anesthesia for inpatient surgical procedures.
- Administer epidural anesthesia for OB patients.
- Perform pre-operative evaluations and schedule surgeries.
- Provide overnight call coverage as needed.
- May supervise CRNAs and other staff.
