About The Position

We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position in Chambersburg, PA. This role involves providing clinical anesthesia services in a hospital and ambulatory surgery center setting. The coverage period is from January 1, 2027, to April 2, 2027, with a clinical shift schedule of Monday through Friday, during the day. The CRNA will be responsible for administering anesthesia to both pediatric and adult patients, monitoring vital signs, managing airways, providing post-anesthesia care, and documenting patient care. The position requires collaboration with the surgical team and anesthesiologists.

Requirements

• Active PA license
• Certified CRNA (BC)
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• BLS certification
• Hospital privileges required (temporary privileges available)
• Ability to obtain hospital privileges within a 90-day credentialing timeline.

Responsibilities

• Administer anesthesia under the medical direction of anesthesiologists.
• Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels during procedures.
• Manage airway and breathing, including intubation and extubation.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
• Document patient care and collaborate with the surgical team.
