About The Position
BayCare Medical Group is hiring Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join the collaborative anesthesia team at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. The role offers a medically supervised practice with a broad, high-acuity case mix and support from approachable, team-focused physicians. The team provides pediatric support and mentorship from pediatric anesthesiologists to help CRNAs build comfort managing children of all ages. Cases include trauma, OB/Gyn, pediatrics, vascular, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, robotics, thoracic, oral and maxillofacial surgery, endoscopy, urology, and ENT. The practice does not include adult or pediatric open-heart cases. Scheduling offers a choice of 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts. St. Joseph’s Hospital is a private, not-for-profit community hospital and part of the BayCare Health System. The hospital is described as a high-volume, broad-service facility with advanced technology and an extensive physician network. Requirements
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation, or anticipated graduation, from an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Responsibilities
- Provide anesthesia care in a medically supervised, collaborative practice.
- Manage a broad, high-acuity case mix, including trauma, OB/Gyn, pediatrics, vascular, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, neurosurgery, robotics, thoracic, oral and maxillofacial surgery, endoscopy, urology, and ENT cases.
