Requirements

Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry
Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents
Must be able to perform essential job functions
Submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance

Responsibilities

Assist with resident plans of care by participating in team meetings, observing changes, answering call bells, and supporting daily care needs
Support residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, ambulating, feeding, and participating in restorative programs as outlined in their care plans
Apply safety devices, gather vital sign information, and ensure residents are positioned and transported safely
Change linens, assist with cleanliness and organization, and help maintain a homelike environment
Restock resident supplies, deliver needed items, and collect or dispose of laundry, waste, and specimens
Identify hazards, monitor exit doors, report unsafe conditions, and support safety procedures
