Are you a dedicated and empathetic individual passionate about making a difference in patients' lives? We're looking for a skilled and team-oriented Nurse Aide to join our multi-disciplinary healthcare team! Under the direct supervision of our RN Charge Nurse/Director of Nursing, you'll play a vital role in providing essential nursing care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. You'll work within the State Nurse Practice Act, our established nursing policies, and our facility's mission and philosophy.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly.
- ND State Nursing Assistant Registry.
Nice To Haves
- Previous health care experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Accurately take and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration), and track intake/output, height, and weight.
- Help patients with treatment equipment, assist with transfers, and safely transport them for tests or treatments.
- Observe patients for changes in condition, potential hazards, and report promptly to the RN.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team, answer signal lights promptly, and ensure a clean and orderly patient environment.
- Set up and assist patients with meals, documenting consumption.
- Practice strict infection control protocols and obtain routine lab samples as delegated.
