About The Position

The Nurse Aide assists patients with activities of daily living and provides nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated. The role also assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit. This is a full-time position working 36 hours weekly in 12-hour night shifts beginning at 7 PM.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an approved Aide Training Program/SRNA.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Provide nursing care, considering the special needs of pediatric and geriatric patients when indicated.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse of the team and/or unit.
• Provide personal hygiene care.
• Take routine vital signs.
• Provide routine care.
• Document patient care in the EMR based on scope of practice.
