About The Position

Dream of becoming a CNA? Powdersville Post Acute has partnered with Impact CNA School to offer tuition-paid CNA classes. This 6-week course will teach you all you need to know about being a CNA and once you graduate, you'll have full-time employment with us here at Powdersville Post Acute as a CNA! Powdersville Post Acute is a 60-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility located in Easley, S.C. just moments away from downtown Greenville. Here, we believe that no single job is more important than another. You'll routinely see our leadership team making rounds and checking in to make sure everyone feels supported and heard.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation to and from Easley, SC
Compassion for an underserved population
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Enrollment in or eligibility for a state-approved CNA training program
Interest in pursuing a career in long-term care or nursing
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Experience as a caregiver is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Participate in approved CNA training program provided by the facility or affiliated institution
Assist residents with basic care needs such as grooming, dressing, and hygiene under supervision
Observe and report changes in residents’ conditions to licensed staff
Help with meal service, feeding assistance, and hydration support
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
Learn proper infection control and safety procedures
Support residents’ mobility and comfort with guidance from nursing staff
Attend all scheduled training sessions and complete required coursework
Demonstrate compassion, respect, and professionalism in all interactions
