About The Position

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) to provide essential care and support to patients, promote their well-being, and ensure their comfort. The role includes assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. The position is at Elms Retirement Village in Wellington, Ohio, and is listed as part time / PRN with any shift. Compensation is competitive and based on experience. Sprenger Health Care is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Its services include long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation.

Requirements

Valid certification as a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
Support patients with mobility and ensure their safety during transfers.
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
Follow established care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including regular infection-control measures.
Document patient observations, activities, and changes in condition.
Communicate effectively with patients and their families, clarify care instructions, and answer questions.
Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations and protocols.
