About The Position

Right Dose Pharmacy, a member of the Guardian family of pharmacies, is seeking a Nurse Account Manager / Vaccinator PRN to join their rapidly growing team in Ankeny, Iowa. This role focuses on administering vaccinations to patients and residents in Long-Term Care communities, ensuring high-quality vaccination services through education, proper storage and handling, administration, billing, documentation, and vaccine safety monitoring. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Appropriate clinical licensure/certification as determined by state regulations.
1+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute for experience)
Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
Great attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to excel in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears inaccurate

Responsibilities

Screens vaccine recipients pre-vaccine for potential concerns as identified by facility guidelines.
Educates recipient and administers vaccine as indicated.
Documents vaccine administration using appropriate medical record system.
Monitors pre and post vaccination for potential side effects and refers for additional assessment/care as indicated.
Collaborates effectively with all disciplines and levels of care regarding patient care.
Ensures compliance with various Isolation Precautions and Infection Control Guidelines.
Supports vaccine administration sites by responding to issues, questions, and ensuring training, as needed, for new products or changes to products.
Conducts face-to-face visits, email, and phone calls.
Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed.
