About The Position

The Registered Nurse A is responsible to the Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the SHA. As a member of the Nursing Department, the Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centred care. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
  • Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing is acceptable
  • Nursing diploma is acceptable
  • Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Registered/eligible with College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of SK - CRPNS
