About The Position

Plans, creates, verifies, and revises Machine Control Data (MCD), geometry, and documentation for numerically controlled equipment to manufacture and inspect parts, tools, and assemblies. Establishes technical requirements to determine producibility and manufacturing processes. Provides numerical control, machining, and programming technical experience. Reads and interprets technical blueprints with strong attention to details. Collaborates with Design Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering to ensure quality NC program prior to part fabrication. Plans and guides the development and integration of new machining techniques and manufacturing methods, processes, software, and equipment. Creates verification and simulation of NC programs for manufacturing and inspection operations. Applies CAD and CAM software experience including CATIA, Vericut simulation, and MasterCAM. Works with machine control data for a complete spectrum of numerically controlled equipment. Works independently and under minimal direction to deliver quality NC programs.
