Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Per Diem - Encinitas
About The Position
This is a per diem/casual position working varied days on an 8-hour shift schedule. On-call availability required during evenings and weekends on a rotating basis. Standard day shift hours are 7am-3:30pm with standby coverage from 3:30pm-8pm Monday–Friday and 8am-8pm on weekends. Located at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. Requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- CNMT (California Department of Public Health – Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine)
- Venipuncture
- Completion of a formal training/educational program in an approved school of Nuclear Medicine
- Imaging experience in a hospital or clinic setting

- ARRT
- 1-2 years’ experience
Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing age specific care, education and imaging procedures in conjunction with other members of the defined health care team.
- Adheres to safety standards and regulatory requirements; participates in Quality Control and Performance Improvement activities.
- Maintains own clinical competency and mandatory requirements.
