About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for its Float Pool at varied locations in the Jacksonville, Florida area. This PRN position involves providing patients with radioactive medication and operating imaging technology to track radiation within the body. Duties include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for scans, and processing image reports that indicate the presence of disease. Experience with geriatric and cardiac patients is preferred. Positions designated as requiring a Level II background screening will undergo detailed fingerprint-based state and national criminal history screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience working in a hospital setting.
• 1–2 years of customer service experience.
• 1–2 years of radioactive material experience.
• Vocational school education.
• One of the following credentials is required: Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist (CNMT) from NMTCB, Licensed Nuclear Medical Technologist (ARRT), or Basic Life Support (BLS).

Nice To Haves
