About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepares patients and equipment for procedures and performs studies independently, in on-call situations, during portable exams, and at other sites as required by the work area. The role also provides clinical instructions and evaluations for students and may perform other responsibilities as assigned. Boone Health has designated this as a safety-sensitive position; maintaining constant alertness and working safely are essential functions. This is a PRN position. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with hours that may vary between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. There are no weekends and no call.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technician, R.T (N)/CNMT.
• No experience required.
• No supervisor experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Medicine.
• Less than 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience.
• CPR certification.
