Radiology - Nuclear Med Tech
About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various imaging studies and be prepared to work in a dynamic environment. This position is located in a facility in City, State. The department has one scanner available and may require floating to another location approximately 6.5 miles away. Types of imaging/studies include Cardiac studies, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies, with an average of 5-10 scans per day. The role involves conducting nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine.
- Proficient in EMR and PACS systems, specifically Radnet and Merge Unity.
- BLS certification is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with GE equipment is preferred.
