About The Position

This position offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team in a clinical setting. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional procedures extending to 4:30 PM EST. There are no on-call or weekend responsibilities. Location Rochester, NY

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
• At least 6 months of experience in Cardiac Imaging.
• Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
• BLS Certification required.

Nice To Haves

• NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine from an accredited program is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies, including SPECT, SPECT/CT, and PET/CT, ensuring precision and clinical excellence.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety at all times.
• Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radiopharmacy operations in compliance with NYSDOH guidelines.
• Document patient data accurately in the eRecord CUPID system, ensuring adherence to all regulatory and safety standards.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and improve lab protocols continuously.

• Conduct SPECT blood flow studies, cardiac amyloidosis studies, and hybrid SPECT/PET viability studies.
