PRN Nuclear Medicine Technologist
About The Position
Touchstone Medical Imaging is seeking an experienced, registered, and patient-focused PET Technologist on a PRN/ as-needed basis for our PET at Red Rocks outpatient imaging center in Golden, Colorado. Touchstone Medical Imaging, LLC is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in the United States. Requirements
- ARRT (N) Required
- 6 Months - 1 Year of Previous Experience
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Current CPR Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform PET exams, including 3D imaging of organs.
- Prepare, calculate, and inject radioactive tracers (radiopharmaceuticals) to measure metabolic activity and cellular-level changes in tissue.
- Screen, educate, and monitor patients for comfort and safety.
- Insert intravenous catheters and test blood glucose/creatinine levels.
