About The Position
Arise CareStaff is hiring an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work for our client healthcare facility in Whittier, CA. This is a travel assignment with a duration of 13 weeks. The position requires computer charting using Epic.
Requirements
- State of California DHS License (N) (R)
- ARRT certification (N) and/or NMTCB certification
- BLS certification by American Heart Association
- Two (2) years training in an AMA approved school for Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive tracers.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
- Operate imaging equipment and ensure proper functioning.
- Record and analyze imaging data.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
