About The Position

Baptist Health is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join their Nuclear Medicine Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time opportunity with an elevated Peak rate of $70.00/hr. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for administering radioactive medication to patients and operating imaging technology to monitor radiation within the patient's body. Responsibilities include sterilizing syringes, preparing patients for scans, and processing image reports to identify diseases. Experience with geriatric and cardiac patients is preferred. The position requires adherence to Florida's rules and regulations regarding Radiation Control/Radioactive Materials and ensuring the protection of patients, self, and others from unnecessary radiation exposure. Compliance with mandatory education and health requirements is also necessary. Positions requiring a level II Background check will undergo screening as a condition of employment.
