About The Position

Radiology Ltd., a 500-employee medical imaging organization providing World-Class Imaging to improve the health of all Southern Arizona, is seeking a PRN PET Technologist (Nuclear Medicine) to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone that can assist with covering our weekend shifts. This position is located at the Camp Lowell Site in Tucson.

Requirements

• Current Arizona CNMT and certification for nuclear medicine through ARRT or NMTCB.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Customer service oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Sensitive to the needs of patients.
• Must function effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to follow the instructions of the Radiologist.
• Ability to maneuver equipment.
• Ability to prepare patients for procedures including physical capability of moving patients.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent patient care in a timely manner, communicate with radiologists and work efficiently with team members.
• Responsible for performing precise, prompt and high quality PET/CT examinations.
• Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware, enters and monitors patient data.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
