About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures in the use of radioactive isotopes in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. This role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols and accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

  • Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, ARRT, or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
  • Nucmed tech must work 7/3 - 7/5
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience
  • At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT
  • Current BCLS required

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radioactive isotopes.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
