About The Position

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is an excellent opportunity at MultiCare, responsible for performing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures and maintaining departmental standards. In this role, you will ensure the most comprehensive and compassionate imaging care for patients. MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital is a 388-bed acute-care hub serving Puyallup and East Pierce County. Requirements

CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment
Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health

Nice To Haves

BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred
Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) preferred
Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable

Responsibilities

Perform on-call tasks, when necessary, as well as a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
Administer diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with department policies and procedures
Perform venipuncture and IV placement
Be able to work independently and unsupervised
Perform quality control procedures, as required for all equipment, and become familiar with the film filing system
